This spider web stretched about 15 feet from the top of our lamp post to a tree branch about 20 feet in the air.

The spider was the size of a quarter. I was heading out the door on vacation and didn't have time to perfect the pictures.

Voice For Animals

Voice For Animals (VFA) is a grass roots non-profit organization established in 1987 and headquartered in York, Maine.

They have five chapters: York, Maine;  Norway, Maine;  Waterville-Winslow, Maine; Richmond, Maine; and  Milton, NH.

Each of the VFA chapters has different programs, but they agree that all animals matter and deserve compassion, comfort, happiness, and respect.

Yes, I know, but this is a good organization and I am biased, my sister Kim, runs the Milton, NH Chapter.

BARNS NEEDED!

VFA is always looking for Barns to place feral cats that have been neutered, but are not of the temperament for adoption.

If you can provide a safe shelter and regular feedings to neutered, healthy cats please contact Contact News from NH

The raccoon was under a work bench in my sister's garage and wouldn't come out.

So that's how when I showed up there was a raccoon in a Have-A-Heart.
